You Are In Control (a song)

When I am down,
and feeling defeated,
When I am scared,
and feeling lonely,
Lord, remind me who I am,
Revive my heart,
Let me sing praises again,
Let joy flood and overflow,
For I know,
You are in control.

Awaken me to Your presence,
For I know You’re always there,
I just need a little more reassurance,
I need to be reminded that You care.

With my eyes wide oen,
Stare deep into my bright soul,
You live inside my every cell,
You take me from broken to whole.

Holy Spirit,
Rise up in me,
While I live on earth,
Waiting for eternity.

Come what may,
May I be bold,
Answer my prayers,
Oh help me Lord.

As I tread the narrow path,
You wrap me in mercy and grace,
You protect me from your wrath,
Someday, I will see your face.

Until then…

When I am down,
and feeling defeated,
When I am scared,
and feeling lonely,
Lord, remind me who I am,
Revive my heart,
Let me sing praises again,
Let joy flood and overflow,
For I know,
You are in control.

Let me find my patience,
In the middle of this storm,
Talking with me,
I know you are in control.

When I am down,
and feeling defeated,
When I am scared,
and feeling lonely,
Lord, remind me who I am,
Revive my heart,
Let me sing praises again,
Let joy flood and overflow,
For I know,
You are in control.

Holy Spirit,
Rise up in me,
While I live on earth,
Waiting for eternity.

Come what may,
May I be bold,
Answer my prayers,
Oh help me Lord.

      1. Do you know anyone who could help you with that? There might be somebody who loves to write music but has trouble finding the right words, so two of you could collaborate together [?]
