Please Answer My Prayer

Dear God,

Here I am praying again,
To You, my closest friend,
For You are here in this desolate place,
I am bowing down now to seek your face.

I look to You to fill the hole in my heart,
No compassion found at home… all torn apart,
And I’m so lonely Lord without human touch.
This isolation is just way too much.

Fill my soul with Your ever lasting love,
Share Your wisdom from above,
Even when I’m not up to speed,
Please remind me, You’re all I need.

For this battle is yours Lord,
Yet, I get so weary trying to carry the sword.
O Lord I seek you now during the night,
For I want to give up without a fight,

I know you will take my yoke,
When I want quit and just choke,
I get scared when I am alone,
Lord please come near me and be shown.

I do pray for others,
My parents, my sisters, my brothers,
But Lord I need You most,
Please answer my prayer, Holy Ghost.
