Meeting of the Kindred

Immediately felt your energy,
Blinded by your light,
You instantly felt like home,
At the very first sight.

Embarrassed to look,
Into seemingly familiar eyes,
I could barely say my name,
Too quick with said good byes.

What in the world just happened?
Was it just in MY mind?
It felt like we knew each other,
From way before this time.
