Thanksgiving

Oh how we are called out of our yesterdays,

For it is there we should not live,

We are not promised tomorrow,

It in today’s moments we should give.

We cling to God’s promises,

The New Convenant, Christ makes us whole,

And when we sin, it’s forgiven,

As far as the east from the west can go.

We are called to live and love in the now,

With gratitude and thanksgiving,

All the memories of God’s deliverances,

Motivates us to keep on giving.
