Answered Prayer

That evil inner voice has left,
The one that was strong in my ear.
Now, You have filled me up with peace,
And took away all my fear. 

There was once a day,
I was weary, weak, almost gone,
I had been led astray,
By that voice that was so strong. 

I had listened to the lies, 
And all the voice had to say, 
I was trying to back up,
Trying to walk away.

But I prayed and mediated,
On God’s holy word,
He answered my prayer,
Halelueigh, I was heard.
