Lustful Fall

He built himself up too high,
And he knew not to go there,
To the top of that monument,
To meet lust, he paid the fare.

He soon came tumbling down,
Stumbling over that block,
Ruined his name with shame,
Wasted moments on the tick tock.

Lights out on the pavement,
Lights out in this hole,
His lies have caught up,
As he tries to gain control.

Shattered glass house,
Where forgiveness comes slow,
Spot light is defining and shining,
As his denial is eating crow.
