The Blanket

Woven memories,
Thread by thread,
Loomed into the cloth of my life.

Some places torn and tattered,
Some patched up,
And stitched by Your hands.

The rainbow of colors,
Splendid and light,
Contrast the blackness of dark times.

For you have seen the future,
Of what each day will bring,
Until my blanket will be complete.
