CHRISTmas

Stings of lights everywhere,
CHRISTmas tunes playing there,
As we all gather once again,
Visiting family, visiting friends.

Small conversations echoing down the hall,
Last minute shoppers at the mall,
Perfectly wrapped presents under the tree,
As we celebrate He who died on Calvary.

All the traditions we do each year,
The smell of turkey in the air,
All because of a virgin birth,
Of Jesus who came to save us on earth.
