Grief

I wonder if the wrinkles around my eyes were made to cradle my tears.

The light reflects upon them as they come from the corners of my eyes.

It has been years since you left this earthly home.

Yesterday’s cries will still be heard tomorrow.

Will this cycle of grief ever end?
