Thoughts are racing,
On the carousel in my mind,
Stopping and starting,
Of wonderful and not so kind.

Playing the poker game,
In my head,
Needing black spades,
And getting hearts of red.

Oh how to tame this lion,
What do I need to do,
To train these thoughts
Instead of thinking of you.
