United In Faith

The brain is a strange place,
A physical part of our being,
The essence of oneself,
A different way of seeing.

The eyes are the windows,
To our everlasting soul,
A reflection of what’s hidden inside,
But still not what makes whole.

For it’s the spirit within us,
That You gave us that day,
That fills our life with light,
And completes us in every way.

We were created for relationships,
Each person unique in their self,
Allowing us to all be our own individual,
Yet, united in faith.

Our brain can be a liar,
For one day it will be taken from us,
But our memories will stay,
When our bodies turn back to dust.

Let our eyes,
Reflect the light of our soul,
The one You gave us that day,
To make us whole.
