oh my love
where have you gone
i need you to hold me
so i may live on

you left me alone
in the day of light
i need you
i need you tonight

dear Father in Heaven
it’s just you and me now
hear my prayers
i want to get out

of this pit
that consumes me
i lift my prayer
now please lift me
