Faith came upon hearing,
And grew when I came to know You,
Before faith, I had this feeling,
That reeked of great doom.
For I gave You my heart,
My mind and my whole,
You wrote my name in the Book Of Life,
And saved my soul.
Then came more trials,
And I prayed and I wept,
Faith brought me through,
With Your promises kept.
For You are full of unmeasurable greatness,
You give revelation, knowledge, and power,
O how glorious it is,
To have faith in my Father.
For I will have faith when the grass withers,
And when the trees fall,
A life without faith,
Is like living on a chain with a ball.
