Unhonorable Love Story

Hot, salty water,
Drips down my face,
I miss you so much,
Now, I have fallen from His grace.

Not supposed to covet,
Those that cannot be,
I question my intentions,
And wonder if you want me.

My mind wanders to places,
It just will not behave,
We both love the same Jesus,
Our promise we have gave.

Yet, stolen smiles are made,
Wanting warm kisses in the dark,
I love you too much,
On you I placed my mark.

I need to be strong in the Lord,
And kneel in repentance,
Forgive me Lord, my transgressions,
On You I place my total dependence.
