I am Sorry

You called me down to the river,
In the heat of the night,
My heart is pounding,
When I get you in my sight.

We are taken already,
And this is a secret rendezvous,
You caress my face,
As I lean in to kiss you.

For I love you dearly baby,
More than you could ever know,
But I don’t love you enough,
I am sorry, I can’t say no.

For we don’t know what waits,

On the other side,

As we fulfill our lustful intentions,
We push the guilt aside.

Looking and seeing no one,
Around to catch us here,
As we savor our cherished moments,
Under the stars way us there.

For I love you dearly baby,
More than you could ever know,
But I don’t love you enough,
I am sorry, I  can’t say no.
