Adornment

Your summer breeze,
Makes me feel free,
Warm, like a tight hug,
Wrapping around me.

The tenderness of your love,
Touching my skin of cold,
The brightness of your eyes,
Kissing my deep down to my soul.

Sprigs of lavender,
Perfectly placed in my hair,
Mixed with smells of you,
Floating in the air.

As the night draws near,
We hold each other tight,
For one last glance,
Before the twilight.
