Every Season

Pockets full of hopes,
Bags filled with dreams,
Traveling down the road,
To a safe place it seems.

Taking in the scenes,
And all of life’s reasons,
You provide all I need,
For each and every season.

Resting in the mist,
Your love surrounds me,
As I float inside Your space,
I am full, I am free.

When I creep into the shadows,
Of the dark forest so deep,
The scent of pine reminds me you are there,
Waiting for me to flee.

When I come back into the garden,
You say, I am delicate like a rose,
Like the peaceful scent of lavender,
You calm my mind and soul.

For I am alive,
I am well,
I am truly loved,
Protected from Hell.

As I filter through the pain,
On my journeys in life,
I can see the beauty,
And how you make everything just right.

Pockets full of hopes,
Bags filled with dreams,
Traveling down the road,
To a safe place it seems.

Taking in the scenes,
And all of life’s reasons,
You provide all I need,
For each and every season.
