Time With God

Under the waxing crescent moon,
With stars so bright,
A plethora of thoughts,
Taking off like fireflies flight.

Bowing my head,
Repentant profession,
A peace washes over,
As I make my confession.

Meditating in prayer,
This special moment in time,
Fellowshipping with God,
My heart beating an internal rhyme.

Then I begin to rejoice,
About our Creator’s sovereignty,
I lift my voice to the Heavens,
For Him to hear me audibly.

Quiet takes over,
The wind begins to softly blow,
I forget where I am,
As my face begins to glow.

Under the crescent moon,
With stars so bright,
Spending time with God,
Until the dawn of daylight.
