Have Faith, You Are Heard

Riding down the road,
Potholes in the way,
Trying to go around them,
But then I stop and pray.

God lead me not into temptation,
What should I do?
I hear His quiet reply,
That’s not the road for you.

You need to be still
to listen to His voice…
When faced with troubles,
He will give you the right choice.

Until you get your answer,
Follow His Living Word,
Pray your prayers,
Have faith, you’ve been heard.

He shows me a new route,
Throwing myself in reverse,
Backing up fast,
and then I see the hearse.

Coming from the direction,
I tried to travel on,
oh the Lord of Lords,
Has saved me once again.
