You sit and watch from a distance,
Observing all I do,
Giving me guidance when needed,
Answering the questions I ask of you.
Listening to my prayers,
My trespasses, and my confessions,
I still have the free will,
To use at my discretion.
Even though you watch,
You still walk with me by my side,
I am humbled by Your presence,
Let not my heart be filled with pride.
For my love for You is deep,
Even when I think I can’t love much more,
You bless me beyond all measure,
More than I can ever score.
You are the love of my life,
How can I forget what You’ve done for me,
You sent Your one and only Son,
To die on Calvary’s tree.
