Will You Catch Me When I Fall?

Shattered in a million pieces again,
Shards of glass pierce me deep,
God’s molds me back together,
Visible cracks show my vulnerability,
Who will catch me when I fall?

My soul bares it all,
As I sit upon your shelf,
Glittering, colored glass,
Alone, all by myself,
Who will catch me when I fall?

Your words crack my shell,
You ignore my essence, my being,
Dust builds thick and deep,
Hiding me from seeing,
Who will catch me when I fall?

I am just a trophy,
Marinating in sorrow,
You fill me up with pain,
I hope for a better tomorrow.
Who will catch me when I fall?

Scared and afraid,
I look up to my Lord,
Praying in despair,
Waiting for His word,
God, will you catch me when I fall?
