Tragedy of The Heart

I had to move away,
Just to let you go,
You were already taken,
And oh I loved you so.

You were out of my grasp,
When tragedy came and went,
I was passed over,
When you went searching again.

I was too far away,
But I came to visit in my best,
I’d give all I have,
Just to hear you say yes.

I want to give myself to you,
But you have moved on to another,
Passing me off as just a friend,
As a sister is to a brother.

My heart aches fervently,
And longs for your touch.
I may be the next tragedy,
In my tears, missing you so much.
