Watered Down Days of Our Youth

Drunk on sin,
We always gave in,
Back in the past we lived,
During the watered down days of our youth.

Taking up the present time,
Turning each moments prime,
Tic tock, hear the chime,
From the watered down days of our youth.

Life was such a maze,
Back when we were babes,
Living in a cloudy haze,
In the watered down days of our youth.

Each second we’d embellish,
Moments we forgot to relish,
Immediate desires of flesh,
In the watered down days of our youth.

Now living in the grace,
Not fearful of the grave,
Repentance we have made,
For the watered down days of our youth.

Were all grown up now,
Do not remember how,
Maturity in Christ we bow,
Forgeting the watered down days of our youth.

Life was such a maze,
Back when we were babes,
Living in a cloudy haze,
In the watered down days of our youth.
