On My Knees

Fuse is lit,
How far will it go,
Trying to blow it out,
Trying to throw,
Too late,
It’s going to explode.

Internal damage,
From the emotional bomb,
Picking up pieces,
My head starts to throb,
What a big mess,
To try and clean up.

Pin is pulled,
Here we go again,
Tossing a grenade,
Causing destruction,
I can’t take this anymore,
I need a stable construction.

On my knees,
I am begging you please,
Make me whole again.

On my knees,
I am praying for peace,
Please, please, please,
Make me whole again.

Hear my cries,
In this night,
I just can’t do this anymore.

Airplane out of control,
Pilot trying to land,
Big waves of wind,
Thick clouds of band,
Happening all in my mind,
And I crash in the sand.

On my knees,
I am begging you please,
Make me whole again.

On my knees,
I am praying for peace,
Please, please, please,
Make me whole again.

Hear my cries,
In this night,
I just can’t do this anymore.

Wings come down,
Lord hears my cries,
Pouring tears,
Come from my eyes,
Comforting words,
All my worry flies.

On my knees,
Oh You heard me,
And You healed my mind.

On my knees,
I am thanking you for this,
This coming back together of me.

Hear my praises,
In this night,
I can do this with You,
By my side.

On my knees,
Praying,
Praying until daylight.
