This Rain

One single year,
Remembrance of the red rose,
Why my dear,
Why that pose?

Face all twisted,
Shedding of wasted tears,
Summoning up our past,
Bringing out all my fears.

This rain is like a sad song, playing in my heart.

My love left me in despair,
On this very day,
It’s way too soon,
Way too soon to go away.

Sitting in bitterness,
Strumming my guitar,
Singing sad words,
About you from afar.

Was it the choices I had made,
What kind of voices are in your head,
I promised I would come to your aid,
Tell me in what bed you have layed,
I can help you come unfreyed…

This rain is like a sad song, playing in my heart.

Piecing together,
All the memories,
Wondering what went wrong,
Why’d you set your self free…
Was it you or was it me…

Was it the choices I had made,
What kind of voices are in your head,
I promised I would come to your aid,
Tell me in what bed you have layed,
I can help you come unfreyed…

This rain is like a sad song, playing in my heart.
