Colors Of My Life

Haze of black,
Streams of white,
All muddled up,
A gray kite,
Flying high up,
Birds in flight.

Sky of blue,
Mountains of brown,
Green, green grass,
On the ground,
Smile is dropping,
Forming a frown.

Roses of red,
Like the blood,
Rivers rushing,
The coming flood,
Water all around,
Making mud.

Sunshine of gold,
Atmospheric fire,
Fills my soul,
Creating desire,
Out of the pit,
Holding the wire.

Silver lining,
Shining bright,
Deepening joy,
All feels right,
Lord brings peace,
Unravelling plight.
