My Joy Is Showing

Sat so dormant on a pedestal,
Of darkness too long,
Waiting and waiting,
For the past to move on.

You allow the sun,
To dance across my face,
My light is shining,
I am back in the race.

I was dead in my walk,
You pulled me close by your side…

Now my joy is showing,
Don’t want to let it hide,
You put your light in my eyes,
Glowing, reflecting your Heavenly light…

Your joy is in me,
You make me complete,
My joy is showing,
Joy after joy to eternity.

Your turned my mouring,
My weeping, and my sadness,
Into something awesome,
Taking away my madness,

Sat in the chair of pity,
Way too long,
Let my joy be contagious,
As I sing this song

My joy is showing,
Don’t want to let it hide,
You put your light in my eyes,
Glowing, reflecting your Heavenly light…

Your joy is in me,
You make me complete,
My joy is showing,
Joy after joy to eternity.

I might get shaken,
But I am never forgotten,
I have trusted in your love,
And your son begotten.

I won’t forget,
What you have done for me,
I will rejoice, will rejoice,
With every part of me.

My joy is showing,
Don’t want to let it hide,
You put your light in my eyes,
Glowing and reflecting your Heavenly light…

Your joy is in me,
You make me complete,
My joy is showing,
Joy after joy to eternity.

You’ve restored the joy,
Of Your salvation to me,
And gave me a willing spirit,
Now everyone one can see…

My joy is showing,
Don’t want to let it hide,
You put your light in my eyes,
Glowing and reflecting your Heavenly light…

Your joy is in me,
You make me complete,
My joy is showing,
Joy after joy to eternity.
