It’s Not Up To Me

I wish I could stop,
The salty tears of your pain,
I wish I could provide you shelter
So you don’t have to play the rain,
I wish I could give you a safe place,
Where you could run free,
But it is just not up to me.

He took away all our sin,
But, He did not take away the earthy groans,
Just hang on to Him tight,
He will soon take you home.

He gave us the moon,
But, He also gave us the sun.,
He hung all the stars,
And can name the one by one,

Don’t let this cancer,
Get you all down,
Keep your head up,
Keep a smile not a frown.
Don’t worry about what the doctors say,
You will be Heaven bound,
When God calls you away.

He gave us the moon,
But He also gave us the sun.,
He hung all the stars,
And can name the one by one,

He took away all our sin,
But, He did not take away the earthy groans,
Just hang on to Him tight,
He will soon take you home.
